Online Gambling Industry Scams
This short piece is going to include some info about online casino scams that are out there. When there’s so much money floating around there’s bound to be scams and this is more than true with online gambling.A very popular scam is roulette promotion. This involves a roulette system that is given to you and you are instructed what casinos to play at. Sadly this system is just no good.
The general idea here is that you are conned into visiting online casinos, and you are told that you are going to win money at them. The casinos featured in these scams are the same too, some popular ones are 21Nova and Eurogrand casino.
Also a popular con is when you are asked to send off a copy of you ID in order to get your money that you have won. This is a scam because they don’t ask for it before you deposit money, it’s only when you want money back.
They don’t mention this beforehand because they know most people won’t bother to send it off if they know before they ever deposit money. The casino gets away with this by claiming the ID is needed for security, this is just nonsense, they don’t want to give you your money.
Another scam that the casinos pull is the deposit bonus. This bonus is given to you straight away as soon as you deposit your money, but there are strict terms and conditions for cashing this bonus out.
This bonus comes with wagering requirements that you have to meet, otherwise you will lose the bonus money. As if that was bad enough they will also class your withdrawal as void, its daylight robbery.
The scams described above are definitely the ones you need to watch our for, but be wary of others too. Online gaming is a dodgy industry and extreme caution should be taken where your money is concerned.
